Requirements

  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities within a high-technology location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or potential security-related issues.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity at designated access points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and report discrepancies according to site policies.
  • Support daily operations by completing routine reports, maintaining accurate activity logs, and communicating clearly during shift changes, escalations, and/or emergency situations.
