As a Security Officer Full Time CPR Patrol in Ashburn, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a government education location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and community members while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an educational location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate school personnel and emergency responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with maintaining orderly entry and departure procedures, and report suspicious persons, conditions, and policy violations.
  • Prepare accurate reports and maintain communication with site leadership and Allied Universal management regarding incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.
