Securitas Security Services is seeking reliable and vigilant Security Officers to ensure the safety and security of our client sites in Danvers, MA. The ideal candidate will maintain a visible presence, respond to incidents, and provide excellent customer service while enforcing policies. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong observational and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
Nice To Haves
- Prior security or customer service experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of security systems preferred (CCTV, alarms, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Monitor the premises through regular patrols and surveillance systems
- Deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized activities
- Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms
- Enforce policies and safety procedures
- Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors as needed
- Write accurate and detailed incident and daily activity reports
- Coordinate with management and local law enforcement when necessary
- Ensure emergency exits and safety equipment are accessible and functional
