Join Allied Universal at a dynamic front desk location in the tech, media, and telecom space, where you will greet visitors, support access control and badge processes, monitor security-related activity, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a front desk location.
  • Monitor access at the front desk by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or appointments, and directing guests, vendors, and contractors in accordance with site protocols.
  • Answer phones, support sign-in and sign-out processes, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation in a professional manner.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access by observing lobby activity, monitoring entry points and/or cameras from the front desk, and communicating security-related concerns promptly.
