As a Security Officer Patrol in Washington, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with integrity, teamwork, and a caring, reliable approach while helping create a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and appropriate emergency response actions at a food and beverage processing location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, equipment issues, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, storage areas, loading and unloading zones, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit points for employees, contractors, and/or deliveries, verify credentials and/or documentation as required, and communicate with site contacts regarding restricted access or visitor needs.
  • Document daily activity, incidents, and/or maintenance or housekeeping concerns, and relay important information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives as appropriate.
