About The Position

Under the supervision of the Security Coordinator, the Security Officer is responsible for the safety and security of hospital properties, employees, and visitors. This role involves responding to emergency situations, picking up and delivering various items such as food, pharmacy items, and bank bags to and from different sites including Hospice House, Long Term Care, and banks. The officer will also maintain records and reports of unusual events or happenings, contributing to the efficient operations of the department.

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Drug Screen
Tuberculosis Test
Background Check
Physical Exam
Respirator Fit
Current flu vaccination

Nice To Haves

Three years minimum on the job security or relatable experience preferred.
