As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Badge Management in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail coffeehouse location.
Conduct regular and random foot patrols of the business, seating areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Respond to incidents, customer disputes, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures.
Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain professional communication with site management, customers, employees, and responding public service personnel.
