Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help support security-related screening operations, monitor access points, and interact with employees and visitors with professionalism and care. You will remain visible, conduct routine observations, and help promote smooth daily operations through teamwork, integrity, and reliable service in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • X-Ray screening experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and/or deliveries entering or exiting the location in accordance with post orders and client-directed procedures.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report unauthorized items, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken according to site guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around screening areas, operational spaces, and the perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
