About The Position

As a Security Officer - Afternoon Mobile in Wellington, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a residential community, where you will conduct routine patrols, support access and visitor activity, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong communication. Requirements

  • Possess 2+ years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Guard card is required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential community, including common areas, amenities, parking areas, and perimeter locations, noting security-related concerns and/or maintenance issues.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity at the location, assist with visitor and vendor access procedures, and help to deter unauthorized persons from entering restricted areas.
  • Support Allied Universal standards by completing assigned reports, documenting incidents, and communicating relevant updates to residents, property staff, and/or local responders as needed.
