As a Security Officer X Ray Image Screening in San Bernardino, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Screener in a government court setting, you will help maintain a welcoming, orderly environment by screening visitors and belongings, monitoring access points, and supporting security-related procedures. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with court visitors and staff, and help deter incidents through a visible presence. Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
X-ray screening experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, court personnel, attorneys, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Screen visitors and their belongings using assigned screening equipment and established entry procedures; identify prohibited items and follow applicable reporting and disposition protocols.
Maintain orderly access points by verifying authorized entry, directing individuals to appropriate areas, and communicating facility rules in a professional manner.
Respond to incidents, disputes, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document events as required.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned public areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.
