As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Access control/badge experience is preferred.
  • Guard card/license is preferred.
  • X-ray screening experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout distribution areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.
  • Monitor access points and observe vehicle, pedestrian, and delivery activity to help identify and report unusual conditions.
  • Document patrol observations, incidents, and policy violations accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
