At a premier commercial real estate location, our Front Desk Officers help support a welcoming and professional environment through visitor management, access support, and clear communication. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being the first point of contact while helping with security-related responsibilities. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial office location.
  • Monitor front desk activity, verify visitor access, and/or assist with sign-in processes in accordance with property protocols and tenant expectations.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with building management and appropriate personnel.
  • Answer questions, provide directions, and/or support daily lobby operations to help maintain an organized and professional front desk environment.
  • Document incidents, visitor activity, and/or access concerns through required reports and pass along relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts.
