As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Entry Control in Saint Pauls, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor information, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted production, warehouse, and administrative areas.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, including parking areas, gates, and loading or shipping zones, while observing for unusual activity and/or operational issues.
  • Support vehicle and delivery access procedures by checking incoming and outgoing traffic, maintaining required logs, and reporting policy violations or security-related issues to the appropriate personnel.
