Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting unusual activity to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify conditions that need attention.
• Monitor the movement of employees, visitors, and/or delivery traffic entering and leaving the location, helping to support orderly operations and compliance with site-specific protocols.
• Assist with incident reports, communication logs, and shift pass-down information, and/or support emergency procedures and direction during weather events, medical situations, or operational disruptions.
