As a Security Officer - Warehouse Screening in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor entry, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Monitor access control systems, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue and collect access badges, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
  • Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
  • Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership, documenting incidents, access issues, and unusual activity in required reports.
