About The Position

As a Security Officer Warehouse Screening Coordinator in Hagerstown, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help monitor access points, screen visitors and personnel, and support security-related procedures that help keep operations running smoothly. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
Monitor entry and exit points at a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials and shipments as directed, and report suspicious activity or policy concerns to site contacts.
Conduct screening of personnel, visitors, packages, and/or deliveries in accordance with post procedures to help support authorized access and security-related operations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and/or local contacts as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with work environments and conditions varying by location.
