About The Position

As a Security Officer Screening Coordinator in Rialto, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor access, screen people and/or items, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a fast-paced distribution location.
  • Screen individuals, personal belongings, packages, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and client-directed procedures.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and other security-related concerns to site leadership and/or local authorities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and completing required reports related to screening and access activity.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, remaining aware of changing conditions within dock areas, trailer yards, and other operational spaces.
