About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Screening in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities in a professional location. Requirements

Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and reporting procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting unusual conditions and helping to address security-related concerns as they arise.
Monitor the location for suspicious activity, unauthorized access, and/or policy violations, and communicate observations to the appropriate contacts.
Work in a range of environments and conditions that may vary by location while maintaining a professional presence and supporting daily site operations.
