As a Security Officer - Warehouse Patrol in Santa Fe Springs, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Security Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in the job state and adherence to Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials, authorizing entry according to site procedures, and maintaining visitor, contractor, and vehicle records.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Support the orderly movement of deliveries, outbound shipments, and personnel by following established traffic, gate, and access-control procedures.
