About The Position

As a Security Officer Warehouse Patrol Specialist in Oceanside, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access awareness and customer interactions. Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observed activity according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter of the location.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, and/or drivers while reporting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Support day-to-day operations by communicating with site contacts, following post orders, and maintaining awareness of changing conditions across the location.
