About The Position

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and reporting observations through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor procedures, and support site access protocols in alignment with location requirements.
• Communicate with site contacts, employees, visitors, and/or emergency personnel regarding security-related concerns, policy questions, and incident response needs.
