Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
X-ray screening experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and sharing information with site contacts when needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and help to verify entry and exit activity in accordance with site protocols, assisting with visitor processing and directing individuals to the appropriate location.
Support Allied Universal and site leadership by reporting maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior, while maintaining a professional presence during varying shifts and working conditions.
