As an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, screening visitors and deliveries, and supporting site procedures. You will remain visible to help deter incidents while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorized access, issue visitor passes as directed, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, including entrances, parking areas, perimeter locations, and loading or shipping areas, to help identify unauthorized activity or access concerns.
• Support the orderly movement of people and vehicles at the location, following posted traffic, delivery, and visitor procedures.
