As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Alarm Response in Sandston, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and respond to alarm-related activity. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential facility concerns.
Monitor access points, visitor activity, and credential compliance in accordance with site procedures; document and report access-related concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and communication protocols.
Prepare clear, accurate reports and activity logs for patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns.
