About The Position

As a Security Officer Walking Patrols in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a hotel and resort location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support a welcoming guest experience, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a hotel and resort setting.
  • Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, hallways, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and assist with verifying entry, directing foot traffic, and documenting security-related incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations.
  • Support hospitality operations by providing visible presence at the location, offering directions and assistance, and reporting suspicious behavior, disturbances, and/or emergencies according to post orders.
