As a Security Officer Bicycle Patrols in Portland, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will complete routine patrols, respond to site needs, and bring agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to each shift.

Requirements

• Be able to ride a bike.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including common areas, exterior areas, and perimeter points as assigned.
• Monitor the location for suspicious, hazardous, and/or unauthorized activity and help to deter issues through visible presence and timely communication.
• Document observations, incidents, and/or visitor interactions, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
