About The Position

As a Security Officer Visitor Services in Little Rock, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify badges and visitor access, monitor access activity, and provide outstanding customer service. You will support a welcoming, secure environment while helping to deter security-related incidents through professional communication and a visible presence. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Access control/badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage distribution location.
  • Monitor and control access to the facility, verifying credentials, managing visitor and contractor entry, and maintaining accurate access-related logs and records.
  • Screen incoming and outgoing personnel, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures to help deter unauthorized access and support loss-prevention efforts.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
