Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Screen individuals, packages, and/or vehicles entering and leaving the location in accordance with site-specific procedures and screening protocols.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor and/or delivery activity to help support orderly operations at a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and/or policy concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, including interior spaces, exterior grounds, and perimeter checkpoints, based on post orders and operational needs.
• Provide customer service by assisting drivers, visitors, and employees with directions, entry procedures, and other security-related questions while following site policies and emergency response instructions.
