As a Security Officer Visitor Screening in Earth City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, and help support smooth access control operations. You will remain visible, perform routine patrols, and provide strong customer service and communication while helping to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific access control procedures, badge and credential verification practices, and appropriate emergency response activities.
  • Monitor entry and exit points for a busy logistics and distribution location to help support authorized access, document visitor and vehicle activity, and report unusual conditions to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using established communication protocols and preparing clear, accurate security-related reports.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter locations, noting maintenance concerns, access issues, and/or suspicious activity.
  • Assist with screening processes for deliveries, contractors, and/or guests, help maintain orderly traffic flow at checkpoints, and support site policies related to shipping, receiving, and restricted areas.
