As a Security Officer Visitor Screening in Palm City, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal at a residential location where you will help manage access points, monitor assigned areas, and perform routine patrols to help discourage security-related incidents. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points for a residential location, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and document guest, vendor, and vehicle access in accordance with post instructions.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with property management and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Support community rules and property access requirements by maintaining a professional presence, answering questions, and reporting maintenance, lighting, and/or access control issues to the appropriate contact.
