About The Position

As a Security Officer Visitor Registration in West Point, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Access Control Officer in an automotive manufacturing location, you will help manage entry points, verify authorized access, monitor activity, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at an automotive manufacturing location by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorizations, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and control access to restricted areas in accordance with established procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, parking areas, production-adjacent areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Document incidents, access activity, and observations accurately, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
