As a Front Desk Professional in a healthcare location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact, helping manage access, greet visitors, support badge-related processes, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism and care. Requirements

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
  • Monitor front desk activity, verify identification and credentials, and help control access for visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site protocols.
  • Answer questions, direct foot traffic, and support sign-in and badging processes while maintaining a professional presence at the front desk.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Complete logs, reports, and other required documentation related to front desk activity, access control events, and/or unusual situations.
