About The Position

As a Security Officer Visitor Registration Specialist in West Hollywood, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier commercial real estate location as a Front Desk professional, serving as the first point of contact for visitors, tenants, and staff. In this stationary role, you will support access management, monitor front desk activity, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Monitor access to the lobby and other designated entry points by verifying visitor information, issuing passes or credentials, and documenting arrivals and departures in accordance with site policies.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with property management, first responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Answer phones, greet guests, provide directions, and support front desk operations while helping to deter unauthorized access through consistent attention to security-related procedures.
  • Complete required reports, logs, and incident documentation, and report maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity to the appropriate contacts.
