Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or access credentials, and following site-specific security-related procedures for a technology-focused location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception activity, manage visitor check-in and sign-in processes, issue temporary access credentials as directed, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to the appropriate contact.
  • Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Support access control operations by observing entry points, documenting visitor and delivery activity, answering phones and/or directing inquiries, and helping to deter unauthorized access through professional presence and adherence to post orders.
  • Complete required logs, reports, and front desk documentation related to daily operations, incidents, and security-related events in accordance with Allied Universal standards and client location policies.
