About The Position

As a Security Officer Visitor Management in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor access at the front desk by verifying identification, managing visitor sign-in processes, issuing access credentials, and reporting unusual activity through proper channels.
  • Answer phones, greet incoming guests, and support lobby operations with professionalism while helping to deter unauthorized access to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Support a professional front desk presence within a fast-paced technology and communications location by following Allied Universal procedures and client-directed policies.
