Requirements

  • Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by greeting employees, visitors, and vendors at the front desk, verifying access permissions, and following site-specific policies for a technology-focused office location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception activity, manage visitor check-in processes, issue access credentials as directed, and document arrivals, departures, and/or unusual activity.
  • Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Answer phones, assist with directions and general inquiries, and support front desk operations while maintaining awareness of security-related procedures and reporting protocols.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access by observing entry points, confirming identification and/or visitor authorization, and reporting concerns according to post orders.
