Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor front desk activity, manage access to the location, verify visitor information, and document arrivals, departures, and/or deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues to property management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Answer phones, provide directions and general assistance, and report maintenance, access control, and/or security-related concerns observed at the front desk area.
  • Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while helping to support an orderly and professional residential environment.
