Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a financial services location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception activity, greet visitors, verify identification and/or credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access in accordance with location protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through proper communication channels when needed.
  • Maintain detailed front desk logs, visitor records, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
  • Support access control and entry screening processes for employees, guests, and vendors while following confidentiality expectations common to a professional financial institution setting.
