As a Security Officer Welcome Associate in Omaha, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer in a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help support daily operations by greeting visitors, managing access, monitoring activity, and responding to security-related concerns with professionalism and care. This role offers the chance to deliver outstanding customer service while using strong communication and technology skills in a team that values being agile, reliable, innovative, and acting with integrity.

Requirements

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and employees at the front desk by following site-specific procedures and Allied Universal protocols for access control and security-related support.
  • Monitor facility entry points, verify identification and/or credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity for a busy logistics and distribution location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Answer phones, assist with directions, maintain front desk logs and reports, and communicate relevant information to staff, vendors, and arriving guests.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access by observing front desk activity, reporting unusual behavior, and supporting established emergency response and security-related procedures.
