Requirements

  • A Level III Armed Guard Card is required for Texas only.
  • Be at least 21 years old.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • An armed guard card or license is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, monitoring access activity, and supporting security-related protocols for a financial services location.
  • Greet visitors, employees, and vendors, verify identification and/or appointment details, and help direct authorized individuals according to location procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Maintain detailed front desk logs, visitor records, and other required documentation, and report security-related concerns or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
  • Monitor entrances, lobby activity, alarms, and communication systems from a stationary post to help deter unauthorized access and support orderly operations.
