About The Position

As a Security Officer Visitor Credential Driver in Beaumont, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help maintain a secure environment for personnel and visitors. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and support a reliable, team-focused operation with integrity. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site requirements.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
Maintain accurate access-control logs and report unusual activity, policy violations, or security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
