About The Position

As a Security Officer Visitor Credential Driver in Beaumont, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help maintain a secure environment for personnel and visitors. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and support a reliable, team-focused operation with integrity. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Maintain accurate access-control logs and report unusual activity, policy violations, or security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
