As a Security Officer - Visitor Check In in PHOENIX, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a financial institution, you will be the welcoming presence for employees and visitors, supporting access control, badge processes, and professional communication. You will monitor entry activity, help address security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Staff the front desk and serve as a professional point of contact by greeting visitors, verifying identification and appointments, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests according to site procedures.
  • Monitor access to the location, maintain visitor and delivery logs, and communicate entry concerns or unusual activity to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established escalation and reporting procedures.
  • Support a professional lobby environment by answering inquiries, receiving calls and deliveries, and documenting security-related activities in required records.
