As a Security Officer Visitor Access in Stockton, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a utilities location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, and communicating professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, and support security-related operations through teamwork, integrity, and exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors while carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor and control entry and exit points at utility locations, verify credentials and authorizations, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor access records.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, access points, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
  • Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership, complete required reports, and help to deter unauthorized access through a visible presence.
