As a Security Officer Visitor Check In in Newington, NH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk Officer at a utilities location, where you will greet visitors, manage access, monitor activity, and support security-related operations through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and front desk support at a utilities location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify identification and credentials, issue visitor badges, and maintain visitor and/or contractor logs in accordance with site policies.
  • Answer phones, greet arriving guests, provide directions, and communicate with site contacts regarding arrivals, deliveries, and other front desk inquiries.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site leadership and/or emergency contacts as appropriate.
  • Support security-related operations by monitoring cameras and entry points, documenting daily activity, and helping to deter unauthorized access through attentive presence at the front desk.
