Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, visitor reception duties, and/or emergency response support appropriate to a front desk location.
  • Monitor lobby and entry activity, verify visitor and contractor credentials, issue temporary access materials, and direct guests in accordance with site protocols.
  • Answer phones, assist employees and visitors with questions, and document incidents, concerns, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Support a professional front desk presence by maintaining awareness of the reception area, communicating with site contacts, and helping to deter unauthorized access through consistent security-related procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations with professionalism, notify appropriate personnel, and complete required reports and/or logs in a timely manner.
