About The Position

As a Security Officer Visitor Check Driver in Moncks Corner, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential verification, and security-related policies.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access within the location.
  • Maintain visitor logs, issue temporary credentials as directed, and communicate access activity, concerns, and/or irregularities to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response activities and site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to observe conditions, report unusual activity, and support security-related operations.
