About The Position

As a Security Officer Visitor Access Systems in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer supporting a commercial real estate location. You will help manage visitor and employee access, monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Use your computer or tablet skills to support badge and access processes while working with a reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control/badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and property management by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor and manage access at assigned entry points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and delivery records.
  • Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, building entrances, and the property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
  • Communicate professionally with residents and guests, provide directions and assistance, and report maintenance, access control, and security-related issues to property management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
