Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related screening procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Screen individuals, bags, packages, and/or personal belongings in accordance with site procedures, and report unusual activity, restricted items, and/or policy concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using clear communication and following post instructions for documentation and notification.
  • Monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access by following established access screening protocols and visitor processing procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned, while observing for conditions that may require a security-related response or further review.
