About The Position

As a Security Officer Visitor Access Desk in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by managing badge access, monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible to help deter incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while using computer or tablet systems. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access logs and related documentation.
  • Control access for delivery vehicles and personnel, direct drivers to appropriate areas, and communicate access-related information with site contacts and transportation staff.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations and actions taken.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading docks, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report suspicious activity, hazards, or access-control concerns.
