As a Security Officer Vehicle Security Driver in Pensacola, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in an educational setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. This driving post includes operating a vehicle in accordance with Allied Universal policy. Requirements

  • Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and school personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with school district procedures, helping to support an orderly learning environment.
  • Prepare accurate reports and maintain communication with Allied Universal leadership, school personnel, and emergency responders as needed.
